Bloomfield Rolls Out New Water Meter Portal; Rate Hike Kicks In

BLOOMFIELD, NJ — The Township of Bloomfield is rolling out a new water meter portal for residents who need to manage their water use, officials announced Tuesday.

The announcement came on the same day as the effective billing date for the town’s recently raised water rates: Aug. 1. The fee hike, which is the first time in more than a decade that prices have gone up for water usage in Bloomfield, was approved by the town council in July.
